You Know You’re on Eluthera When

You know you’re in

the carribean,

when there are

three cupboards

full of glasses:

tumblers,

juice glasses,

wine glasses,

margarita glasses,

water glasses.

And a total of six cups.

No need for heat here-

the sun and

warm hearts

provide it.

No need for coffee here

island time

no hurries

no worries

mon.

Just smiles

and open hearts.

Freeing the Wild Tiger

The wild tiger in each of us

dresses in sheep’s clothing

continually bringing

ourselves to heel.

Zorba the Greek

refused his sheep coat

and danced his wildness.

Gandhi marched with dignity,

a wild tiger focused on

freedom and independence.

Martin Luther King Jr’s

wild tiger spoke

so eloquently of it’s dream.

And we,

each of us,

after a lifetime of training to heel,

must find and free

that wild tiger

in order to find joy

and ironically

peace.

The Condor

The condor soars high,

killing nothing,

yet living by eating

that is already dead.

Consuming the past

what is no longer alive.

We humans purify our lives

by allowing ourselves

to consume and digest

the story, our history

of who we were,

of places we’ve

loved and rooted

and accomplishments we’ve crowed.

In order to fly

high and clear

and free

and be all that

we can be.

Going to Goo

What the caterpillar

calls the end of the world,

the master calls a butterfly.

The nearsighted caterpillar views

the world from a quarter inch off the ground,

beyond that it’s just a blurry mirage.

When the caterpillar cocoons and goes to goo,

it’s world does come to an end.

It chooses the end of that life story.

In a state of goo,

without the desperate clinging

to social contracts designed to

preserve the status quo,

transformation can happen.

But we must first enter the

cocoon of our inner world,

to allow the deeper truth of our

winged larger selves to emerge.

When you hold a caterpillar

on your hand, you feel the undulatig labor

of it’s whole body with each step forward.

It’s impossible to hold a butterfly

without destroying it.

You must allow it freedom

and simply offer gratitude if it alights.

So many of our social contracts

like the caterpillar

are laboriously maintaining

the only world we’ve known

clinging to survival.

Each of our inner butterfly selves,

are craving the freedom to

transform into our creative passionate selves.

Free to just be.

Key of Forgiveness

The key to unlocking

the door

holding Creator hostage

within you

is forgiveness.

You must forgive you

for all those earlier

ignorant acts

that lacked love,

in order to recognize

how deeply beloved

you already are.

And on the same

keychain, with forgiveness

is the key of release.

Not only forgiving yourself,

as Creator has already done,

but releasing those old patterns

to embrace, to allow

the true you to

shine Creator out into the world..

The Last Unicorn

In an old children’s movie

The Last Unicorn,

upon hearing

she’s the final one free,

goes on a quest

to find the others.

She allows Smedrick,

an aspiring magician,

to turn her into to human

to obtain entry to the castle

where all the others

are held by the red bull.

In a foreign human body,

her memory fades day by day,

forgetting the truth of her soul.

Ultimately she faces down

the terrifying red bull,

driving him into the sea,

freeing the others

to return to their homes,

creating pockets of peace,

once again on the land.

And so, we unicorns,

who have chosen human forms

must face the red bull

of our own fears,

to help free each other,

that we may each

create pockets of peace

in own homes and hearts.

The Haunted House

A haunted house

only works in the dark.

We enter these

tiny human spacesuits

we call our bodies.

Initially they startle so easily,

not knowing what is safe

and what isn’t.

In grown bodies

we enter a haunted house

seeing only the dark,

heightening our cautionary instincts.

It is what we see so suddenly,

the skeleton, the skull, a spider,

popping out at us and quickly back to darkness,

that startles our system so.

If we were to carry

a match, a lit torch

we could see the skull or skeleton

long before hand and

prepare our system

to know it’s truth.

It is only a shadow

on Jung’s cave wall,

and only able to “get us”

through our own fear.

In the darkened room

of our third dimension world,

if we can but light the match within,

the light of faith,

of knowing Creator is within us,

then the haunted house

can no longer terrorize us.

With the light from within

we can focus on the

section of the house

that is our responsibility.

With the light from within,

we can light the way

for others

to see a different view.

With the light within

the house is no longer

haunted.

It can become heaven,

depending on where we

place our focus,

our attention.

Marching on Maya

Today,

October 28, 2011

we march past

Calleman’s deeply researched

end of the Mayan Calendar.

The end of our last

13th heaven: fruition.

Now, even more than before

we reap the fruits: fruition

of our sowing,

of our planting.

Is it loving kindness

or

fear and loathing?

One option is to

move past duality,

the either/or world

that is black or white,

right or wrong.

One option is to

move into Unity,

into acceptance of self,

acceptance of the Creator within.

Move into getting

“I am the Darkness

that is the Light

and the Stillness

that is the dancing.”

Thank you T. S. Eliot.

Now we march toward the

12:12:12, December 12, 2012.

The final activation

of the nine remaining Atlantean Crystals

and the crystalline grid

of Tyberonn’s Metatron.

After which we march toward

the 2012 solstice.

December 21, 2012,

the astronomy event

documented by John Major Jenkins

aligning our solar system

with the Great Central Sun

of the Milky Way galaxy.

And always the march is actually

to our own within where

we find Creator,

and in will alignment

can create a world

of love and joy and peace.

Welcome to this broad

beginning of a new era.

FORGIVENESS

Love is neither given nor taken,

but rather discovered and allowed.

You can offer a much love

as the ocean to another,

but they will only receive

the amount they feel they deserve.

Forgiveness is like love.

Forgiveness is not given nor taken,

But rather discovered and allowed.

We may acknowledge

that Christ or the Creator

has graced us with forgiveness.

But in truth Creator and Christ,

working hand in hand,

don’t need to forgive us

for they never judged

the act in the first place,

They just love.

We term that grace.

It is us, our own soul

that must discover,

in a way that has validity for us,

that we deserve forgiveness,

whether for major disasters

or small unkindness’s.

It is our subconscious,

our inner child,

our own soul that must

allow the forgiveness,

for it to take root and blossom

into greater love of self,

which is loving Creator.

Wouldn’t it be wondrous

if we knew,

that the eye through God sees me

is the eye through which I see God

and likewise

the forgiveness with which

God/Christ/Creator sees us

is the same forgiveness with which

we see ourselves,

and therefore the Creator within?

Silver Chord: Gossamer Thread

I watch a spider,

hung from a tree.

In these two lines of writing

he’s risen two feet,

now six feet off the ground,

yet two feet from the nearest branch.

Hung from his

“silver cord”

as we are,

light years and

lifetimes from home,

swinging in

this precious human body.

Creating anchors for

our swinging in the wind

of houses and bank accounts,

jobs and friends,

children and families.

And yet

we know it all swings

by a gossamer thread.

Ready to fall into

the arms of Creator,

if we can but trust.

An expensive commodity.

Trust in Allah

but tie your camel.

God has no other hand

but yours.

God has no other

tears than yours.

And Her sadness

comes with

your tears

in feeling unloved

and unworthy.

When, in truth

you are another perfect

creation of the

Beloved.

For you she feels

the same overwhelming love

you experienced

with the birth of your child.

Liberty Falls in the Rain

The spiky spruce needles

are reflected in my hot tea,

while protecting me from

the drip of twelve hours

of Alaska soft rain.

The tea reflection

shimmers to my heart beat,

unheard against the

downhill rant

of Liberty River,

inches from my toes.

Shades of green

dress my camping spot.

River rocks color the water green.

Moss lines the shore

while horsetails stand guard,

and alder leaves glitter,

silvery in the gray light.

Shadowy ancient spruce

line the sky,

only interrupted

by the rare towering cottonwood.

The narrow cut of the steep valley

is dressed in green top to bottom.

Silver slashes compliment the green.

Shaggy wet tree trunks

and high rock walls hung vertical,

contrast with the horizontal river shore.

With a unrelenting gray sky above.

I so love it here.

This is where my soul finds

sustenance in the river quiet,

in the river noise.

My eyes feast on the green

and my heart calms finding center.

May Your Eye, May My Eye

May your eye be single.

May you see through

the eye of love and joy,

a world at peace.

An inner world

where the waves

of colliding duality out there,

are humorous, as your eye

sees only Creator’s creation.

A world intended for joy.

May your eye be single.

May you know

that the eye through which you see Creator

is the eye through which Creator sees you.

And Creator sees you

through a lens of love and acceptance.

Do you see a God

of love and acceptance?

May your eye be single.

May you celebrate

the incredible beauty

of a green sunlit leaf

against an impossibly blue sky.

And

may you accept

your own shadows.

May your eye be single.

May my eye be single,

As I walk the crooked path

between choosing to see beauty

and accepting others choices

as they are.

May my eye be single.

May my eye be single

as I choose unity.

The unity field,

informed by duality

by either/or choices,

a world of black or white,

right or wrong.

I choose a field in which

those extremes

create a trinitized field,

with Creator’s energy leading.

The field allows for love and fear,

with the fear to showing me

where love is not yet.

May my eye be single.

May my eye be single

leaves no room for judgment.

I see you as a creation

of Creator who is exploring

all the options..

No mistakes, just

new directions.

Is it joyful?

Then follow it.

Is it painful?

Then turn anew.

May my eye be single.

Stillness

Finding stillness

within

is like reaching the

mountain top.

While re-framing thoughts,

while climbing the mountain,

all is focused front and center:

deal with this thought,

explore, understand,

love and release.

Put this foot in front

of the other.

Eyes on the trail for safety.

But mental stillness

puts you on the mountain top.

Suddenly you are in

the center of open space.

Focus no longer limited

to the front views.

You can look in any direction.

View changing freely

without holding you

in any limitation.

Freedom and stillness.

Wind Horse

I sit far forward on my wind horse,

a combination of Pegasus and unicorn,

known in Lemurian times as a symbol of

spiritual mastery.

I feel the ribbed flying muscles

Contract and release powerfully.

I lean forward,

my head against her neck.

The wind rushes by,

stars twinkling near and far.

I just feel.

It doesn’t matter where

we’re going to…

only the journey itself.

Through the dark,

lit by countless candle stars.

The wind horse is

collectively the symbol for Sagittarius.

The centaur, a male archer,

morphing into the unicorn,

the gentle mythical horse only

seen by the pure of heart.

Sagittarius wanting to aim

for our highest truth.

Once a warrior hunting,

now gently seeking through

our inner female heart.

My search for spiritual mastery

has evolved from ruthlessly aiming my arrows

for “the” truth, regardless of who’s in

the target range,

to gently accepting and discovering

the truths about me:

both light and dark.

seeking the unicorn through love of self.

Fate Versus Destiny

Fate versus destiny.

Destiny versus fate.

Fate reminds you

that your body is on loan

from nature.

And the dues it

will collect

include the demise,

the death of the form.

But destiny

sings to you

of the dues you

owe your soul.

Singing of the deepest

longing of your soul

for it’s unique expression

in the world.

The cry for creativity

to pour out of you,

uncontainable joy

in the union with Creation.

Two Eyes: Single Eye

We have two eyes through which

to see . . . . duality.

We have two ears through which

we hear . . . . duality.

Two brain hemispheres,

the corpus collosum filtering

. . . duality.

And we have one heart . . . unity.

May my eye be single.

The eye is single

as the heart leads. . . unity.

My heart has lead me

into the swampy terrain

of healing old wounds.

Those self inflicted,.

the hardest to forgive

and wounding from others,

still needing our forgiveness.

Steel Slide Guitar

If I could ease your pain.

If I could lighten your load.

If could make things a little better for you.

The lipstick case

screams across steel strings.

Music that touches

hidden places deep within.

A wailing cry of pain,

so close to high excitement.

Reaching inside

for something almost there.

The rhythm, the beat

a pulsing salve

over the pain/pleasure.

I need to hold my center of gravity.

I need to serve me first.

I need to live my joy.

The steel slides

moving freely

back and forth

from one octave

to another.

Neither octave

the answer.

Both are right

in their place

in the music

of life,

of my life,

in this

precious human body.

Fate and Destiny (Two)

Fate and destiny,

the same or different?

We resign ourselves

to our fate.

Fate is our dues

owed to nature.

The mortality of our physical form,

the inevitability of death

that humbles us all.

Fate can be embraced.

The richness of the little deaths,

offered as the bandage is ripped off

of our hidden wounds,

our secret judgments

against ourselves.

Our old patterns that keep us

separate from our true selves.

For God has no judgment,

only love and acceptance.

Fate comes,

invited or not,

embraced or denied.

Destiny,

on the other hand

is the dues

we own our soul.

We create our own destiny

as we choose daily

how to spend

the light/love of Creator

that is the true fuel fir

our precious human bodies.

Are we spending that juice,

that energy,

to meet the expectation,

the “requirments” of

other’s view of who we should be?

Or are we focusing that

light and love

on what brings joy

to our soul?

Walking that joy

is paying those

destiny dues due our soul.

Poetry pours itself onto paper,

from my heart.

The answer to my souls longing

to express itself in this world.

What brings you the greatest joy?

Your dues to your soul,

your destiny.

Oh sweet flowing feathers

gently swaying.

I choose gentle lessons.

I choose great joy.

As the boat

containing Creator and I

bumps to shore,

help me find the place

of gentle allowing.

Help me find

Help me find

the Kairos point

choosing between

I intent

I select

I affirm.

And

help me allow

in stillness,

in each moment

simply watching

what arises.

Help me walk the point

of witnessing

what is

through oneness

with the light.

This is my path to peace.

YIN STEPS FORWARD

The wind horse of spiritual mastery

is a horse both winged and horned,

Pegasus combined with a unicorn

that always leads with it's horn.

Balance is found in between the two.

The feminine energy of the unicorn

is seen only by pure female energy,

yet the wind horse symbolizes the

the feminine by a masculine blade,

a pointed horn.

And the Pegasus wings

representing the male in action,

depicts that energy by two wings

forming the cradle between

….how female.

And the unicorn horn, the female blade,

always come first, regardless of direction

leading the action of the yang

with the yin heart e-motion.

Water Element

Water is the one element;

out of the four:

air, fire, earth and water

that walks in the moccasins

of each of its siblings.

Water floats in the air,

a glittering rainbow

of powdered snow

drifting weightless

on air currents,

winking at the sun.

When torched by fire,

water steams mightily

driving monstrous locomotives

or cleansing human forms

in sightless, yet light-filled

sweat lodges and steam rooms.

Emulating its sister Earth,

water forms itself to the ground.

Huge glaciers bulldoze the earth.

Or water may cover the earths surface,

however uneven with smooth and shiny.

In its natural state

water flows to contour,

to whatever shape its given,

from riverbanks to ocean shores.

Always giving in graciously,

uniting and combining

into

ONENESS.

No Photon of Darkness

I was taught

there is no evil,

only ignorance.

I struggled.

But what about….

cruelty

hatred

torture?

I came to know

that evil is live

spelled backwards,

ignorance in practice.

The physical analogy?

There is no

particle of darkness.

There are only

particles of light: photons.

Evil, the dark,

has no substance,

no matter,

only an absence of light,

an absence of love.

There is no matter

with which you can

turn on the dark.

You can only

deny the light.

Once you shield yourself

from the light,

as undeserving perhaps,

your seemingly “real” world

is but Jung’s shadows

projected by the fire light

against the wall of the cave.

There is no substance there

except your belief.

From the high view

evil (dark) is simply

good (light) that

hasn’t arrived yet.

I am loving

watching the “light”

arrive in my life.

How is yours?

STONE MOUNTAIN

The stone pours open.

A tube taurus,

a lava upwelling

of light.

Stone Mountain

stands

a beacon of light,

seeping into the ground.

Offering the compassion

of release to old sorrows

long held.

Stone Mountain

dances,

Fecund,

her huge belly

in rhythm with

the pulsing of light

releasing.

Stone Mountain sounds,

a scratchy voice,

long silenced by sorrow

and deaf ears.

She thrums a deep sound

of pleasure,

a higher note of joy.

She hears again

the drum beat

of her sacredness

recognized.

She feels the movement,

the flow

of light.

RETURN OF THE WIND

Rain falls gently,

irregular heart beats

on each leaf.

The rich green of deep summer

intermittent with shiny new leaves.

Irregular healing beats of green

for the eye and heart.

Healing coming in waves.

Waves of light of the shiny new

in this 3rd night of the Mayan

Universal underworld

of “assimilation of the new wave.”

Assimilation of the new,

from transformation with

Mictlantechutli, the God of Death,

For the old pains and old paths

of slavery

of the trail of tears.

Transformation from

Assimilating our spirit into form,

expressing soul light through our bodies,

merging with our higher selves.

die

Spring Unfolding

In one week,

last Wednesday to this,

the back drop of the sky,

has gone from an X ray table

highlighting skeletal trees

to tiny lace openings

between leaves as they bud-open-flower.

The miracle seems greater

every year that my

my precious human body

observes it.

The color has gone

from flat brown,

to vibrant minty mouthwash

tender green.

Each standing person (tree)

inhabiting in their whole space.

Proudly defining

their full belly, a circle or oval.

Similar to our soul,

reaching to fill out the

bare branches of

our wounded selves,

that can’t accept

the fresh mint of love,

or can’t allow

the unfolding of new growth.

Our souls work so continually

to remind our mind/consciousness

to bud and birth the million leaves of

our joy

our deservedness

our worth.

May you hear and heed your soul.

May you unfold into the fullness

of the truth of ALL that you are

in this spring of our ascension

into the summer of 2012.

I PASS OVER

I leave my body

behind

finally.

I can so easily

join the light

party.

I can so easily

find Mom or Daddy

or past loves.

Instead I choose

to go camping

alone.

I choose with my spirit

to hang out

in the stillness.

I choose to be…

silent

not seeking.

I choose to allow

my I AM

to find itself.

I imgagine it so

like camping alone

undisturbed

silent.

The hours pass

watching the river

blowing bubbles

climbing.

My mind quiets

my center of gravity

finds itself.

I sit

I quite simply AM.
