GOOSE GUARDING

Male goose stands

chest puffed out.

Guarding.

Only his head swivels,

to track invaders

on the boardwalk.

Slim female

feeds gracefully

head darting down for food

never needing to look up.

She knows he’s there.

Mated for life

he stands guard

in Alaska in the summer

in Mississippi in the winter.

Our male energy

guards and protects

our female energy

as it feeds and nurtures.

LABOR & DELIVERY

When my mother labored,

and I was delivered

Daddy’s and husbands

were not allowed near.

Mom’s themselves,

flat on their backs,

were not present but drugged.

Babies arrived asleep,

“under the influence”.

One generation later,

when I had my babies,

moving around encouraged,

Midwives working with doctors.

Pain meds available

but not pushed, not taken.

Baby’s Daddy and friends

present and involved.

Babies, once again

delivered to wide awake love.

Now each of us is

birthing our post 2012 world,

deep in those labor pains.

The world is not going

away in 2012.

But right now, you

are determining what

that new world

will be like for you.

Are you laboring

flat on your back,

listening to instructions

from someone else?

Are you accepting the anesthesia

offered you minute by minute?

Another credit card application.

And you’re already approved!

Buy more.

Have more.

Show off more,

but don’t think.

Or are you in labor,

breathing with the pain and

grateful for each respite?

Lining your bed side

with friends and family and guides

who truly support you.

Are you using

meditation/prayer,

a walk in the sun,

a funny movie,

coffee with friend

for your pain meds?

We are all laboring.

And we will deliver.

I want my new life

to be delivered to

wide awake love and joy.

Not to mention deep peace.

ASKING

What do I want

to know most?

How to focus the day?

What do I need to work on?

Is a tall dark stranger

headed my way?

No and

no and

not the question,

any of them.

The question is:

What brings me joy?

What can I do,

that will make

me feel the most joyful,

right now?

Do I Write?

Do I write for me

or

do I write for thee?

Do I write for me

from my questing yearning

heart center of gravity?

Do I write for thee,

framing my growth,

my visions, in ways

you are most likely to accept?

Do I live for me

or

do I live for thee?

Do I live for me?

Dedicating time/hours/day

to my creativity

to the flow from my heart?

Or do I live for thee?

Behaving, always doing more

for others,

ever needing to help.

Do I create for me

or

do I create for thee?

Do I create poems for me

from my excited wounded

light filled and shadowed

heart center of gravity?

Or do I create poetry for thee?

Writing to teach others,

to show the way,

to reach the most people?

In duality

the choice is either/or.

In unity the choice

is where the abacas bead

is on the string

between the two.

Guided from the
point of the triangle,

above yet within.

I write for both.

But I write for me

first.

2012 and James Bond

Arjuna Ardagh,

I so love your image

of 2012 as the end

of a James Bond movie.

The forces of evil,

ever clandestine and international,

appearing benevolent while

attempting world control.

All aligned

against one James Bond.

One suave, fearless,,

humor, life (and lust) filled

James Bond

who is living in the moment.

In a nail biter to the end,

Bond uncovers,

discovers, takes on

and undoes

the robotic like forces

of evil which is

live spelled backwards.

And here we are: humanity.

With 1% of us funny humans

holding 40% of the worlds wealth.

Transparency now unveiling

the greed over integrity

at the core of our old system.

The translucents are

those who have touched

the Oneness.

Those who have

walked through the illusion

of “he who dies

with the most toys, wins”.

Those who’s minds

no longer master them,

but rather their hearts.

Those who know the truth

Of we are all related.

Those who have experienced

we are just one molecule

of the greater body.

The translucents

are poised,

suave and fearless

getting the humor the great comic joke,

and living in the moment.

The translucents,

in a nail biter

to the end,

are no longer living

in fear.

They are no longer

cratering to the

buy more,

spend more

have more

“solution”.

Instead creating

their own lives

of love and joy

with peace at the center.

Turning evil on it’s

pointy little head

And living forward

to create a new world order.

Working in our Sleep

It is at work

that we are asleep.

At work on

the ‘to do’ list,

never-ending.

Work harder.

Work more.

No time for play,

We are working in our sleep.

For it is in play,

in joy and laughter

that we awaken,

that we en-ligh-ten.

It is as we play

that our heart opens

to others, with others.

Osho, bless you

For Naruda’s story

of the old man endlessly

working, meditating, fasting.

How long he asks Neruda,

until I’m enlightened?

And a young man,

under the same tree

playing music and dancing.

Neruda asks

timelines for both

and reports back.

The old man is bitterly

angry at 3 more lifetimes,

The young one laughing,

says, only as many

as leaves on this tree?

Easy – think of all

the trees on the planet,

and for me,

only the leaves of this one.

And in that instant,

enlightenment came to him.

It is as we work

that we are asleep.

It is as we play

that we awaken

that we en-light-en.
