RUMI INSPIRED

“We are the pain

and what cures pain.

We are the sweet cold water

and the jar that pours.” Rumi

“We are the pain”

of fixed ideas,

of knowing answers

that don’t serve us.

And we cure the pain

through allowing

that gate opening

into a larger garden,

a larger frame.

Which asks only for

balance in this moment.

Neither right nor wrong.

Neither end of the seesaw

being the “correct” way,

but a balance between two truths.

“We are the sweet cold water,

ever fluid, ever searching.

Initially for the “right” answer,

then for “the” truth.

And finally for the balance

of loving acceptance.

Recognizing that every truth is a lie

at another dimensional frequency.

And we are the “jar that pours”.

It is our thoughts,

our intentions that give form

to our lives, our very existence.

The great gift of consciousness

allows us to form

the shape and substance of our jar.

A jar that pours the water

of our “truth” of being

out into the world.

Does your jar pour

“sweet cold water”?
