MOVING CENTER

I move my center

from my head,

from the shoulds,

the gotta’s,

the ought to’s

To - the ripples flowing out

To - the flow of:

I want this,

this feels great.

I move my head

from the drivers seat

to the back seat.

My heart is steering.

Life is in the fun flow

a joy ride.

In the back seat,

my head’s job

is to explain

why we went

where we went,

not determine it.

I move my center

from the poor me,

to the power me.

No one else can make me happy.

Only I can “save me”.

And

I can’t make anyone else

truly happy.

Only they can do that.

It’s not my job to save anyone.

It’s my job to move my center to joy.
