In my aging
I find patience
to stop cooking
and step outside
for each burst of sun
through the clouds
In my aging,
I find
in my invisibleness,
how I used sex
to be “seen”.
Now I don’t have to be seen.
I can simply be
the imprint a bird
leaves in the sky.
Knowing the deep
goodness of life
is flowing thru me.
In my aging,
I’m immensely grateful
for my body’s
eagerness to sleep on the ground,
to hold yoga poses,
to try so many things
without constantly judging
it’s success.
In my aging,
it’s become so easy
to see the value
of opposites in:
parenting,
in world views
and to see the
value in both,
instead of right or wrong.
In my aging my eyes see
beauty and goodness
everywhere.
