Once the Cumberland Gap
was a “new pass”.---
Later Lewis and Clark explored,
what the 5th dimension
native people lived,
but was “unexplored”.
The gold miners
flooded the “chilkoot trail
in the “last frontier.”
Now we study and pack,
make our reservations
and plan our 2012 journey.
What world are we
marching to,
reserving space in?
How much love,
how much kindness,
how much compassion
how much peace and harmony
does it hold?
How much is in your life today?
The ratio in 2012
will be what
you can hold,
Will be what you choose.
And your choices
are reflected in
where your heart
and head
spend their energy
today.
