Spring Unfolding

In one week,

last Wednesday to this,

the back drop of the sky,

has gone from an X ray table

highlighting skeletal trees

to tiny lace openings

between leaves as they bud-open-flower.

The miracle seems greater

every year that my

my precious human body

observes it.

The color has gone

from flat brown,

to vibrant minty mouthwash

tender green.

Each standing person (tree)

inhabiting in their whole space.

Proudly defining

their full belly, a circle or oval.

Similar to our soul,

reaching to fill out the

bare branches of

our wounded selves,

that can’t accept

the fresh mint of love,

or can’t allow

the unfolding of new growth.

Our souls work so continually

to remind our mind/consciousness

to bud and birth the million leaves of

our joy

our deservedness

our worth.

May you hear and heed your soul.

May you unfold into the fullness

of the truth of ALL that you are

in this spring of our ascension

into the summer of 2012.

I PASS OVER

I leave my body

behind

finally.

I can so easily

join the light

party.

I can so easily

find Mom or Daddy

or past loves.

Instead I choose

to go camping

alone.

I choose with my spirit

to hang out

in the stillness.

I choose to be…

silent

not seeking.

I choose to allow

my I AM

to find itself.

I imgagine it so

like camping alone

undisturbed

silent.

The hours pass

watching the river

blowing bubbles

climbing.

My mind quiets

my center of gravity

finds itself.

I sit

I quite simply AM.

SEASON COLORS

Vibrant gold

shines from the aspen

devils club and willows.

Preparing for the

official arrival of fall.

Yellow gold, in one tradition

the color of the 3rd chakra,

Our power, the seat of our ego.

Tera, dressing for fall in Alaska

also wears cranberry red

close to the ground.

The color of our root chakra:

safety and survivial.

Winter: dark hours lengthen,

dark bare trees, dark ground and waters.

Followed, with relief

by the white of a pristinely

snow covered world.

Spring bursts green,

sap and energy moving up.

Green: color of the heart chakra.

of young love and June weddings.

Green protecting the soft pink

at the core, underlying.

Tera moves majestically

into the flowering of

the blues, purples and indigos

of the throat, third eye and crown chakra

of the long light of deep summer.

Energy rising through us humans,

the sun’s love raining down.

We are each a pillar

connecting heaven and earth.

LIFE

Life starts,

carried in the

arms of another.

Later,

leaving the families arms

for comrades in arms:

peers.

Then searching for a soul mate,

as if another could make you whole.

And finally turning

within and without.

Seeking greater answers.

Finding yourself

alone in the boat,

only to realize that

Source is rowing.

If your free will

allows it so.

All that is asked

is to listen and

follow guidance.

But then one day

the boat bumps

to shore.

And Source, still love, and

the wind under your wings,

stops rowing.

And begins asking,

over and over again.

What do you want?

What brings you joy?

Oh, you don’t like that?

Withdraw your energy.

What would you like?

Co-creators we are.

Creating a life,

living a reality

framed by our perceptions.

TOUCHING THE UNIVERSE

I sit,

fragments of poems,

circling.

None coalescing.

My mind expands

to include them all,

yet hold none.

My consciousness

is in my heart center.

Gratitude primed,

it begins to flow.

In the open space,

of only a flickering

candle

and Singing Stones.

No time.

I touch the universe

from inside

my heart.

BELTANE or MAY DAY

I watch the flame

twist up,

reaching,

moving,

licking.

So yang,

so phallic

The hearth fire,

is low and warm,

red and glowing,

inviting hands closer

for warmth.

So yin, so female.

At Beltane,

May 1st,

tradition was

you “jumped the fire”.

And men and women

joined their fire.

In celebration

of joy and pleasure.

In celebration of

another season of light.

In celebration of life

in these sweet bodies.
