It is my mission

the space
that I inhabit.
It’s NOT my mission
to bring my light
into the darkness
of another.
It’s NOT my mission,
to save anyone else
from their reality.
It’s NOT my job
to make sure
others do a level of
the light dark balance
that is comfortable for me.
We each are masters.
We each get to select
the balance of
the light and dark
that we choose to carry
in our lives.
Just as I get to select
the balance that works
for me.
